If you are a non-profit organization or a teacher in the South Central Community Foundation’s service area and you haven’t applied for their 2012 grant cycle you have one more day to get those applications in.
This year’s theme is a continuation of last year’s theme which was “How can you make a big change with small change?”. If you’re a non-profit organization and have a great idea to make a big impact in your communities now’s the time to share your idea! Just fill out a grant application and get it submitted to the South Central Community Foundation by August 31 before 5 p.m.
If you’re a teacher and you have a classroom project or even a field trip that may not be in your school’s budget you are encouraged to fill out a grant application as well.
The deadline for both of the grant applications is Sept. 1st. Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Aug. 31st in the office, or postmarked no later than Sept. 1st.
Here’s what you do:
1. Go online at: www.sccfks.org
2. Rollover to the Grants tab and click on Grants Process
3. Click on the 2012 Grant Application and fill it out
4. Make sure your application is submitted by August 31st before 5 p.m. at the SCCF office at 114 W. 5th St. or postmarked no later than Sept. 1st.
