Program Basics

  • The Peoples Bank and Southwest Truck areaa sponsoring an Adult Reading Program at Pratt Public Library
  • The Peoples Bank and Southwest Truck will each donate $5 for each 1,000 pages read (total amount donated will be $10 per 1,000 pages) to the Angel Tree Program through RSVP

 

How It Works

  • Adults enroll at the Library
    • First day to enroll is Oct. 15 but may enroll anytime during the program.
  • Check out books/audio books (no e-books at this time)
    • To be eligible items must be checked from the Library
    • If they listen to an audio book library staff can help them find the number of pages that the print book contains
  • Read
  • Return materials to library
  • Fill out Tally Form
    • Short form asks for name, titles, total # of pages
    • Patrons may take tally forms with them and have them filled out when they come in
  • Library staff will tally the forms and notify The Peoples Bank and Southwest Truck of the total number of pages read and the monetary amount that equals by December 2
  • Sponsors, The Peoples Bank and Southwest Truck, will make donation to the Angel Tree Program
