Pilot Club of Pratt and Pilot Express Railroad – Western Day – Saturday, September 7, 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. (weather permitting) at Sixth Street Park in Pratt. Come enjoy an evening of train rides, games, food and music. The cost will be $1.00 for a ride on the train, and then the remainder of the activities are free. There will be a food booth selling food and drinks. Western music will be provided from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. by Verlan Elliot and Shawn McIntosh.Proceeds from the activities will go towards upkeep of the train along with providing grants to other community organizations or school projects.

This stimulating workshop will help members of the care giving community who want to enhance their knowledge and skills related to supporting people experiencing grief care and emphasize the importance of “companioning” not “treating” the mourner.
