Pratt High School Bake Sale to benefit Haven High student Kolton Kincaid – TONIGHT – PHS teachers and students will hold a bake sale during the home basketball games tonight to benefit this Haven High student that was seriously injured in an accident. Please stop by and purchase some goodies!!

Free bikes – Pratt Optimist Club annual fall bike give-away SaturdayDecember 21, 9 – 11 a.m. Pratt Fire Department on South Jackson St. These refurbished bicycles are suitable for children of all ages. A signed release form from a parent or guardian is required.

Holiday Lights – Be sure to get out and enjoy the holiday lights in Lemon Park and Sixth Street Park! The lights are on nightly from dusk until 11:00 p.m.

Food Drive to Benefit Bread of Life, Inc. – maurices (across from Walmart) is holding a food drive to benefit Bread of Life December 10 – December 31 Customers can drop off their donations any time during store hours (M-Sat 10 am – 8 pm; Sunday 10 am – 5 pm). Items needed include canned, sealed and dry foods. (For each donation, people will receive a coupon for 20% off any one regular-priced maurices item.)

TTYL (Tween Tuesdays @ Your Library) New Year’s Eve Party This event is open to all 5th – 8th graders. USD 382 is providing transportation between the events.

Tuesday, December 31
v      5 – 7 pm The Pratt Public Library pizza and a movie
v      7 – 9 pm The Teen Center
v      9 – Midnight Rolla Rena Skate Center

SPONSORS ARE NEEDED FOR THIS EVENT! Donations are needed to help cover costs for the Teen Center and Rolla Rena Skate Center. If you are willing to help, please call the Pratt Public Library so that your LOGO can be included on flyers. PLEASE CALL TODAY 62-3041 so they can get flyers to the schools before Christmas break.

v      January 2 – K-4 Fun @ Your Library

The library is offering activities for children in grades K-4 on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month, 4:00 – 4:45 p.m. Children will be split into 2 age groups for activities (Gr. K-2 and Gr. 3-4) for crafts, stories, fun and games!

Christmas Bird Count – Training Session Monday, December 30, 7:00 p.m. Pratt Public Library
Anyone interested in assisting in the Christmas Bird Count should plan to attend. Brian Bartels is also interested in starting a Bird Watching Group in Pratt for anyone who is interested.

Blythe Family Fitness Center will be the site of a free Yoga event Saturday, January 4, 10 – 11 a.m. Instructor for this event will be Heather Applegarth Blythe will also be the site of several basketball and volleyball tournaments starting in January—we’ll keep you posted about those events as we have more information.
